Corner of Darkness…

POETRY

Bagawath Bhandari, Bhutan

Burning sun melts down the horizon,

Gently kissing my wandering emotions,

As I walk up the road in my unknown excursion.

Every time I add my step from one to two,

Everything seems blurry and untrue,

As my thoughts get churned and brewed.

I keep traveling an unknown path,

In the creepy arms of the forthcoming dark,

That is obviously swallowing an emerald earth.

Fear runs down my sweating spine,

As I am terrified by the shadow of mine,

As I walk up and bid goodbye to the shine.

My journey isn’t ending anytime soon,

But I keep rambling waiting for the moon,

To torch my way from her heavenly cocoon.

In an hour of time lights ought to glow,

When darkness rests and wind starts to blow,

And for eons unknown dreams would be followed.
